How information is handled in this coursework prototype.
What the site collects
The customer query form records the name, email, subject and message you submit. WooCommerce records the contact, billing and shipping details entered during a simulated order, along with the items and totals. The hosting service may keep technical security logs.
Why it is used
Information is used to demonstrate customer enquiries, cart and checkout functionality, and order management for academic assessment. Use fictitious details for tests and avoid sensitive information.
Cookies
WordPress and WooCommerce may use cookies for login sessions, basket contents and checkout. No advertising pixel or marketing analytics integration has been configured as part of this build.
Access and retention
Submissions and simulated orders are available to the site administrator. Keep test data only for the assessment period, then review and remove it from the WordPress dashboard. A production retention policy must be agreed before a commercial launch.
Queries about your information
Use the customer query form to request review or deletion of a submission. Include only the details needed to identify it.
