This is a university e-commerce prototype. No physical orders are dispatched and no real payment is collected.

Delivery in the prototype

The checkout supports addresses in Pakistan. A simulated standard delivery charge of PKR 250 is added per order. The total is displayed before the demo order is placed. This charge is a coursework example and is not collected.

How a demo order works

Choose a product and size, add it to your bag, review the quantity and total, then continue to checkout. Use sample contact and address details. Select “Demo order — no payment” and complete the simulation to see an order reference.

Proposed returns approach

For a future commercial launch, we propose a 7-day return request window for unworn footwear in its original packaging. Eligibility, courier arrangements, refund timing and any return costs must be confirmed before the store accepts real orders. This proposed policy does not create a fulfilment service for the prototype.
